The sea glass featured in this piece was hand picked from Torquay Surf Beach in Southern Victoria by the artisan.

Sea glass can originate from broken bottles, broken tableware, or even shipwrecks. Normal shards of glass are tossed about the ocean over many years, until sharp edges are smoothed and rounded, and the glass gains a frosted appearance.
